Engine Options
As a sports sedan, the Cadillac CT4 draws power from a handful of powerful engines. The car’s base powerplant is a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that produces 237 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque. This engine pairs with a smooth-shifting eight-speed automatic transmission and either rear- or all-wheel drive.
Next up is a turbocharged 2.7-liter four-cylinder engine that’s available in two states of tune depending on the trim you choose. In the Premium Luxury trim, this engine produces 310 horsepower and 350 lb-ft of torque, numbers that increase to 325 horsepower and 380 lb-ft of torque in the Cadillac CT4-V model. Both trims have a 10-speed automatic transmission and RWD or AWD.
A twin-turbocharged 3.6-liter V6 engine powers the top trim, and it delivers 472 horsepower and 445 lb-ft of torque. The V6 engine pairs with a six-speed manual transmission or a 10-speed automatic transmission. Rear-wheel drive is the only drivetrain offered with this powerplant.
